Spark - Health & Fitness App - Stylized 3D Character Creation
We were honored to collaborate with Luni on the development of their dynamic health and fitness application, Spark. Our team had the pleasure of providing Character Creation, 3D Modelling, and Rigging services to craft a stylized, low-poly digital coach designed to motivate mobile users.
Overview
Supporting the vision for Spark was a highlight for our Berlin studio. This project presented an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Health & Fitness sector by developing a friendly and approachable digital presence. We were thrilled to work alongside the client to bring a stylized character to life, ensuring the asset was perfectly optimized for a seamless mobile experience while maintaining a distinct visual identity.
Project Experience
The Spark App character creation process required precise modelling to balance visual appeal with technical efficiency. It was a rewarding challenge to sculpt the low-poly geometry, ensuring the character remained lightweight for the app while retaining a high-quality, professional look.
To enable the virtual coach to guide users through diverse workouts, the Rigging phase for Spark was essential. We worked closely with the development team to create a flexible skeletal structure, allowing for fluid and accurate movement during complex fitness animations.
The aesthetic success of Spark relies on its inviting interface, which we supported through vibrant texturing. By applying stylized materials, we helped define the character's personality, ensuring it served as an encouraging visual anchor for the user's fitness journey.
