Mimic Productions created a photorealistic digital double of Spanish footballer Salma Paralluelo and delivered full-body motion capture services for NEWFORMAT’s Nike Air Max Dn8 campaign, redefining sports storytelling through cutting-edge digital human technology. Overview
As part of Nike's Air Max Dn8 global campaign featuring eight world-class athletes paired with innovative creators, Mimic Productions partnered with Berlin creative studio NEWFORMAT to bring Spanish footballer Salma Paralluelo's performance to life through advanced digital human technology.
The project showcased Nike's Dynamic Air innovation through the lens of unreal motion and creative experimentation, translating authentic athletic movement into cinematic digital storytelling that celebrates the fluidity of the Air Max Dn8.
Campaign Experience
Mimic Productions delivered advanced motion capture services for the Nike Air Max Dn8 Project, creating a photoreal digital double of Spanish footballer Salma Paralluelo. Our mocap services captured every nuance of her athletic performance, from dynamic full-body movement to subtle gestures and facial expressions, translating them into seamless digital storytelling. Realtime and markerless mocap allowed on-set visualization, enabling immediate feedback and creative adjustments, ensuring the final output reflected both technical precision and authentic athleticism.
