Mimic Productions contributed rigging and animation to an Etisalat advertising project through UPP.cz. The campaign pairs a futuristic robot performance with live-action scenes and luminous digital screens. Our role covered the character's rigging and animation within the wider production, bringing together the controls needed to pose a digital character and the movement that turns those poses into an on-screen performance.
Overview
The Etisalat campaign moves between a theatrical robot performance and scenes of people interacting with a connected digital world. A metallic character appears on an illuminated stage, with gestures and changes of pose forming part of the film's visual language.
Mimic Productions contributed rigging and animation through UPP.cz, within a production involving Big Kahuna Films and agency IMPACT BBDO. These two services connect the character's technical controls with its performance on screen. The campaign stills bring that work into context, following the robot from its illuminated entrance to the gestures and stage movement seen in the finished advertising film.
