We were delighted to partner with Caliverse to push the boundaries of immersive storytelling through detailed Character Creation and VR Performance Optimization. This collaboration focused on translating high-fidelity digital humans into a virtual environment, ensuring that every detail remained breathtakingly realistic on VR devices.
Overview
It was a privilege to collaborate with the visionary team at Caliverse on this ambitious Character Creation project. Our shared goal was to bridge the gap between cinematic quality and real-time VR performance, creating a seamless bridge for users to interact with hyper-realistic digital personas.
Working closely with the Caliverse team allowed us to dive deep into the technical nuances of how light interacts with various materials in a virtual space. From intricate electronic equipment to diverse clothing textures, the Caliverse project was a masterclass in collaborative research and development, resulting in a stunningly polished final product.
Project Experience
To achieve the technical goals of the Caliverse project, our team conducted extensive research into Character Creation workflows that allowed high-end scanned data of reflective clothing and electronic equipment to be optimized specifically for VR headsets without losing visual fidelity.
Supporting the creative vision of the Artist and Performer team was a highlight, as we utilized advanced Rigging and corrective setups to ensure that every movement felt natural and grounded within the virtual world.
The final visual outcome of the Caliverse campaign represents a successful synergy of Modeling and Texturing, providing users with an unparalleled sense of presence and immersion that defines the next generation of VR experiences.

Character Creation & Modeling:
We were honored to support Caliverse's vision by developing high-fidelity character models and textures, focusing on the intricate details of clothing and accessories to ensure a premium look and feel.
Rigging & Simulation:
To bring the characters to life, we implemented complex Rigging and cloth simulations for bags and straps, ensuring that all movements were fluid and realistic for the Caliverse experience.
VR Lookdev & Integration:
A major part of our collaboration involved specialized shading and Unreal Engine integration, where we optimized every asset to maintain high quality while ensuring smooth performance on VR hardware.
